From 12–14 June, 80 artworks from young artists, aged six to 16, have been selected to exhibit in the Young Visions Open Submission Exhibition 2008 at amelia johnson comtemporary in Shin Hing Street, Central.
This ‘open submission’ exhibition is organised by Face Productions, to allow young artists the chance to experience the process of selecting their own artworks, pricing them, and submitting them for display. Artworks range from painting to sculpture, sketching and oil painting.
In a unique relationship between Face Productions and amelia johnson comtemporary international fine art, the talented young artists will also be given the opportunity to put a price on their artworks and maybe even making a sale for charity! 50% of the charity sale will be donated to the Hong Kong Juvenile Diabetes Association, a registered charity in Hong Kong to support children with diabetes.
Face Productions provides community-wide creative opportunities for youth in Hong Kong and Asia.
