Amelia Johnson Contemporary will be participating in an exciting cultural experiment designed to revitalize the historical location of the former Central School (the former Police Quarters) and to explore the possibilities for use of the site by Hong Kong’s creative industries. The Former Central School Envisioning Days will consist of a series of activities including guided tours, displays of artifacts excavated from the site, arts quarters by artists, talks and workshops will be held in and around the buildings of the former police quarters. Amelia Johnson Contemporary will be holding a special exhibition of photography from China, showing works by Greg Girard and Wang Wei. Come and join us from Saturday 21st February until 1st March 2009.
